In Good Company is an evening of music and dance, with works by Brooke Leeder, Mitch Harvey and Rob Tinning. This triple bill is performed by a collective of independent Perth based dancers, performing in each of the three works, with the composition and live sound by Louis Frere-Harvey. This is a new initiative for the dance community, driven by these independent artists.
Presented within the Perth Mess Hall, a beautiful building in the heart of Perth’s Cultural District, the audience is eye level with the performers, and audiences have the ability to roam and move with the dancers.
Each night also features local musicians and DJ’s, who will thread sounds between each dance work, and carry the audience into the night of dance.
The three works are centred around common themes of unity, rituals and our innate human need to be connected, a deep and genuine moment to feel apart of something unique, and that we are all – In Good Company.
