WA Tenements
MTO – https://emits.dmp.wa.gov.au/emits/enquiry
Tengraph – https://dasc.dmp.wa.gov.au/dasc/
These are the datasets available for Western Australia:
- Current Tenements
- Dead Tenements
- WAMEX – WA Mineral Exploration Reports
Note: Data appears on Mineral Titles Online typically 24 hours before it appears on Tengraph
- WA – Area Changes– lists changes to the LEGAL_AREA field or the calculated spatial area of existing tenements.
- WA – Dead Tenements (Tengraph) – lists all tenements that have been removed from the Tengraph dataset – specifying the details of that tenement before it was removed.
Note: On occasions data that is received from DMIR’s Data Centre is incomplete, which sometimes results in tenements falling incorrectly into the Dead Tenements (Tengraph) section. This may happen if a tenement’s spatial boundaries are edited by the DMIRs which may prevent the tenement from being successfully exported from the Data Centre, resulting in it temporarily disappearing from the download.
- WA – Dead Tenements (MTO)– lists tenements that have been detected to be flagged as dead in Mineral Titles Online but not yet flagged as dead in Tengraph.
- WA – Expiring Within 2 Days– lists tenements of concern with no renewal lodged that will expire within 2 working days.
- WA – Granted Tenements– lists tenements that have changed from the Pending to Live status.
- WA – Partial Surrenders Due– lists Exploration Licence (E) partial surrenders that are due based on the stipulations in s65 of the Mining Act:
- an E applied for before 10 February 2006 is required to be reduced in its 3rd and 4th year by 50% in both years;
- an E applied for after 10 February 2006 and contains more than 10 blocks is to be reduced by 40% at the end of its 6th year of its term.
- An E applied for after 10 February 2006 and contains less than or equal to 10 blocks does not have to be reduced.
- WA – New Applications– new tenements that have appeared in the Tengraph dataset.
- WA – Other Changes– lists other changes detected within the fields of existing tenements.WA – Tenements Near Death – lists all WA tenements going under forfeiture proceedings or close to expiry with no renewal lodged within the next 30 days from the current report.
- WA – Tenements Near Death– lists all WA tenements going under forfeiture proceedings or close to expiry with no renewal lodged within the next 30 days from the current report. As this list is system generated utilising the department’s manually entered data on MTO there are some instances where tenements appear on this report due to the timeliness/completeness of data recorded on MTO. These include tenements where:
-
- Forfeiture and/or corresponding Fine dealings (if any) have been recorded but not FINALIZED
- Objections have been raised when the tenement was still pending, but may have been recently granted
- WA – Tenements Near Death – Changes– lists tenements near death, but only changes to the dataset. The definitions are:
-
- Added to list – Tenements that have become near death
- Removed from list – Tenements that are no longer near death
- Changed Status – Tenements near death that have had status changes such a warnings change
